Cauliflower

9/12: Cauliflower, oil on canvas panel, approx. 8x10 in.

The seemingly random outer forms of a cauliflower belie a mathematical process that ends in a million beautifully precise little bulges (I could show only the randomness), and the more I looked at it the more it resembled a thundercloud.
